Something to consider when purchasing a new homes is Home Safety. Homes with sunken living rooms, and converted garages with one step instead of two can be huge true trip hazards. Especially for the elderly and children. Just a 1/2 inch flooring transition from adding new tile or pavers can be just  enough to catch a toe or the tip of your shoe and cause a fall.

We know there is much to think about when purchasing your new home, but adding home safety to the list may be worth thinking about.

A qualified remodeling contractor may have a few ideas to remedy the situation and keep the  home at the top of your list.
